This time, I visited Kirby Café TOKYO in Tokyo Skytree Town Solamachi, and I’d like to share the winter-limited café menu items and merchandise with you!
Where is the KIRBY CAFÉ Tokyo?
As of 2025, there are three Kirby Café locations in Japan: Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka (Hakata).
Each location offers its own exclusive menu items, so I’d love to visit all three someday! This time, I visited the Kirby Café TOKYO location.

Location
1-1-2 Tokyo Sky Tree Town Sola Machi 4F, Oshiage, Sumida 131-0045 Tokyo P
On the 4th floor of Tokyo Skytree Town Solamachi, you’ll find not only the Kirby Café, but also Kirby Café THE STORE, where you can buy merchandise without a reservation - as well as the Pokémon Center Skytree Town, JUMP SHOP, and many other character-themed stores and shops selling uniquely Japanese souvenirs.
Because of this, it’s a great spot to stop by when sightseeing in Tokyo.
If you’re travelling by train, the area is very easy to access.
It’s directly connected to Tokyo Skytree Station, as well as Oshiage Station, which is served by the Hanzomon Line, Asakusa Line, Keisei Line, and Toei Asakusa Line!
When I travel to Japan, I always stay at a hotel around Oshiage Station for the last few days of my trip.
I usually finish my visit by shopping at Skytree and enjoying delicious sushi at Triton before heading home.

Oshiage Station is a perfect location, with easy access to central Tokyo and a direct train to Narita Airport without any transfers!
Reservations are required for dining in at Kirby Café!
If you’d like to enjoy the café menu inside Kirby Café, a reservation is required in advance.
According to the information provided, only reservations made through the official Kirby Café reservation website are valid, so be sure to book via the official site.
Reservations for the following month open at 6:00 PM (Japan time) on the 10th of each month.
You can’t book several months ahead, so this is something to keep in mind.
In my case, I happened to be on a flight at the exact time reservations opened, so I asked a friend to help make the booking for me.
Since we wanted to book for December, my friend accessed the reservation site right at 6:00 PM JST on November 10, and apparently all slots were fully booked in less than three minutes…!
Luckily, my friend managed to secure a reservation for two people.
This time, we booked an early evening slot on a weekday, but reservations are extremely competitive every month, so it’s a good idea to prepare several possible dates in advance.

On the day of your Kirby Café reservation, arriving 10 minutes early is required!
According to the official reservation website:
Please arrive 10 minutes before your reservation time on the day and present your reservation confirmation email and a valid form of identification.
If you are unable to arrive within 10 minutes of your reservation time, your booking will be cancelled, including delays caused by public transportation.
Even if your train or bus is delayed, arriving more than 10 minutes late will result in your reservation being cancelled.
For this reason, I strongly recommend allowing plenty of extra time when heading to the café on the day of your booking.
We met up at Solamachi a few hours earlier and visited Kirby Café THE STORE first to buy some merchandise.
Coincidentally, a Christmas market was being held at Solamachi at the time, so we were able to enjoy the illuminations and food stalls as well!

When we arrived at the Kirby Café entrance 10 minutes before our reservation time, there were already several people lined up.
At Kirby Café TOKYO, there are chairs provided for the waiting line, but the area is outdoors, so it can feel a bit cold if you’re visiting during winter.

A few minutes before our reservation time, a staff member came over to check the reservation name and our identification.
When it was time, they explained the rules and important information for dining inside the café, and then each group was guided into the café one by one.
Kirby Café TOKYO’s dine-in menu: lots of cute and delicious food and drinks!
The photo spot at the café entrance is adorable
As soon as you enter the café, you’ll find a photo spot featuring Kirby and Waddle Dee.
Be sure to ask one of the staff members to take a photo for you right away!

We didn’t notice this at first, but later on we saw other guests using photo props, such as oversized forks and knives, for their pictures.
If you’re interested in using them, it might be a good idea to ask a staff member.
Kirby Café TOKYO dine-in menu: lots of cute and delicious food and drinks!
Kirby Café operates on a 85-minute time limit.
You can place additional orders during your visit, but since some menu items take time to prepare, it seems safer to order everything at the beginning.

With collaboration cafés, I often feel that the food looks great but is a bit underwhelming taste-wise.
However, all of the food at Kirby Café looked incredibly delicious and adorable!

I had a hard time deciding what to order, but this time I chose the following items:
Winter Kirby Burger & Snowy Cheese Pasta (with bonus item)
Waddle Dee’s Lost Item (with bonus item)
Kirby’s Cheerful Marshmallow Au Lait (with coaster)
For food items that come with a bonus, you can take home the mug or plate as a keepsake.
Of course, it’s also possible to order the food without the bonus item, which is a bit cheaper.
The drinks arrived first. For Kirby’s Cheerful Marshmallow Au Lait, you can choose from several flavours such as milk or coffee.
I chose the hot coffee option (it tasted like a café latte), and my friend ordered the milk version.

The marshmallow on top can be chosen from two designs: Kirby with a Warp Star or Sleepy Waddle Dee.
Waddle Dee was also unbelievably cute! I debated for a while, but ended up choosing Kirby with the Warp Star. The coaster is given out at random.
The food didn’t take too long to arrive either!
The “Winter Kirby Burger & Powdered Snow Cheese Pasta” is a seasonal menu item that’s only available for a limited time.
At the Osaka location, there’s also a store-exclusive menu called “Winter Waddle Dee Burger (Okonomiyaki style) & Powdered Snow Cheese Pasta.”

They grated cheese over the pasta at the table, and the staff member was so enthusiastic, saying, “Now I’m going to make it snow!” while grating a huge amount of cheese. LOL
The minestrone-style soup served in a tomato-shaped container was also delicious.
The bun with Waddle Dee wearing a scarf was super cute!
The burger had a slightly sweet sauce, kind of like teriyaki sauce, and it was really tasty as well. This one plate alone was quite filling!
For dessert after the meal, I ordered “Waddle Dee’s Lost Item.”
I mainly ordered it for the souvenir star-shaped glass plate.
Waddle Dee is buried in the snow⛄
The dessert was an orange sherbet with a refreshing flavour, and the whipped cream around it, plus the crunchy star-shaped sprinkles, made it even better.

All the Kirby Cafe menu items are cute and delicious!
I especially love this souvenir star-shaped glass plate. It is so cute and my favourite.
It is a bit small, but nicely thick and sturdy. Perfect for serving jelly or small desserts.
My friend ordered the seasonal dessert, “Take a Break Gateau Chocolat: Kirby Playing in the Snow.”
This one also had a big Kirby on top and was adorable!

The souvenir items are given to you together after the meal.
They come packed in a box, and after checking that there are no scratches or cracks, you can take them home as they are.
Take out menu at KIRBY CAFÉ TOKYO
By the way, even without a reservation, some Kirby Cafe menu items can be ordered as takeaway.
Authentic stone-baked pizza (store-exclusive, some items come with a souvenir)
Kirby Burger & French Fries (with souvenir)

These were the takeaway options available at the time of my visit in 2025.
For the latest information, please check the official Kirby Cafe website.
The Souvenir Goods Shop at Kirby Cafe TOKYO
The attached goods shop at Kirby Cafe TOKYO is located next to the checkout counter.
The selection was very similar to Kirby Cafe The Store, which I visited beforehand.
According to the official website, the lineup mainly focuses on cafe-exclusive items and new products.
For the time being, this attached shop is limited to cafe customers only.
Because of that, it tends to be less crowded than Kirby Cafe The Store, which you can enter without a reservation, making it a more relaxed place to shop.
Kirby Cafe The Store Is Also Recommended If You Are Just Shopping for Goods!
Kirby Cafe The Store, which I visited before my meal at the cafe, is located on the 4th floor of Tokyo Skytree Town Solamachi, on the same floor as the cafe.
It is directly opposite the Pokémon Center, so the area can get quite crowded on weekends.

The store has a wide selection of merchandise, including seasonal items, mystery-pack magnets and pin badges, capsule toys, and even tableware used at Kirby Cafe.
The magnets and pins especially caught my eye.
They cost just over 600 yen each and are palm-sized, making them perfect for personal keepsakes, souvenirs for friends, or small gifts!

There is also a takeaway menu here, featuring drinks with Kirby mascots attached and Kirby-face pao (steamed buns).

Since I was feeling a little hungry, I tried the Kirby-face pao with custard cream filling.👀

It was basically a custard-filled steamed bun, and it was cute and just right for a light snack!
Note: Some drinks were sold out.
Kirby Cafe The Store does not require a reservation, so if you just want to buy merchandise, this is the place to go.
It felt like the selection here was even better than the goods shop attached to the cafe!
Kawaii and Tasty! Final Thoughts on Kirby Cafe TOKYO
That wraps up my review of Kirby Cafe TOKYO and Kirby Cafe The Store.
This was my first visit, and since it was a weekday evening, it was not too crowded. I was able to enjoy shopping at the store at a relaxed pace.
Reservations are required for the cafe, but all of the food and drinks were delicious.
Even if you are not super familiar with Kirby, I think you can still enjoy the experience!
To be honest, I had watched the Kirby anime and played the games before, but I was more of a casual fan and had never collected merchandise seriously.
However, once I started picking up the items in person, I realised how cute everything was!!
Many of my friends overseas also love Kirby, so the items are perfect as souvenirs. Before I knew it, I had spent a lots of money… oops!
The souvenir items you can order at the cafe are also adorable and practical plates you can use every day, making them perfect keepsakes to remember your visit.
Another fun way to enjoy the cafe is to bring your own favourite plush toys and take photos together inside.
I brought my favourite Pokémon, Ditto, and my friend brought Xiao (the bird version) from Genshin Impact.
We had a lot of fun taking photos with the hidden Waddle Dees and Kirbys around the cafe!

If you are visiting Tokyo, travelling to Japan, or returning for a short stay, I highly recommend visiting Kirby Cafe.
Reservations open one month in advance, so it is best to plan early ✨
